Website Review

How much does each review cost?

The Standard Website Review is £95 and the Ecommerce Website Review is £145.

How can I purchase a website review?

To purchase either of the reviews, just click on one of the buttons above.

How do I send you my site details?

In the checkout you have the opportunity to input your website address.

When will I get my review?

Once I receive your order, you should receive your Website Review Infographic Report within five working days.

Will you suggest improvements?

As well as reporting the strengths and weaknesses of your website, your bespoke review will include recommended action you can take to improve the performance of your site.

How will the report be sent?

The report will be a PDF, emailed to you on completion.

Website Design

Why should I choose you to design my website?

As a small creative business owner myself, and being married to a business owner too, I understand the struggles that small businesses go through.

I have more than 20 years of experience and I won't just be a designer, I'll be a mentor, a partner, a friend. You pour your heart and soul into your business and I will do the same to your website.

I am always available to answer any of your questions.

Which payment gateways do you support?

Websites I create include e-commerce and will have PayPal, Stripe and Bank transfer pre-installed and will be supported. Additional payment gateways can be installed by yourself but they will not be supported.

Will the website work well on mobile devices?

Yes. It's of paramount importance that your website works well on mobile devices and any updates you make to your website content in future will automatically appear on mobile too.

Can I track visitor traffic to my site?

Yes. You can see a huge amount of information about visitors to your site as Google Analytics will be pre-installed and it does top notch reporting. You will need a Google account to use Google Analytics and I will install and set this up once your site is up and running.

Do you design Shopify sites?

No. I specialise and focus on WordPress sites.

What's the difference between you and Shopify?

Shopify is a click and go e-commerce solution that requires you to do all the design, setup and maintenance of your site yourself. I design and customise a bespoke website to reflect your brand and business, and I build it for you and your customers needs so you can concentrate on running your business. There are no restrictions or limitations with a WordPress website, other than what you choose to implement.

How much does a websites cost?

A typical website would require an investment of £2,450 and there are two payment options available.

Option A - 2 Payments:
The 2 Payment option requires a 50% non-refundable advance payment before the project begins, followed by the remaining 50% before the project goes live.

Option B - 10 Payments:
The 10 payment option requires a £500 non-refundable advance payment followed by 10 payments of £195, payable each month.

* All prices include VAT at 20%, are subject to change and are dependent on your individual project requirements

Can I cancel at any time?

If you cancel within 12 months, you forfeit your website and if you choose to pay using the 10 Payments option, you must give 2 months notice. If you cancel after 12 months, I will assist you in migrating your website to a new hosting provider.

What if I don't want an online shop?

That's fine. Not everyone wants or needs an Ecommerce solution for their website. Get in touch with your requirements and we can discuss the best solution and a price.

Are you able to add all of my products?

Websites I create include up to 25 products added to your online shop. This includes images and copy supplied by you. If you would like more products added, get in touch and we can discuss a price based on the amount of products you require adding and the time required to implement this work.

I have lots of pages, are you able to create them all?

Websites I create include up to five pages created. If you would like more pages created, get in touch and we can discuss a price based on the amount of pages you require creating and the time required to implement this work.

Are there any separate setup costs?

No, all costs are incorporated into your project investment.

What credit cards do you accept?

I accept all major credit cards including VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express.

Website Care Plans

How do I ask for updates to my website?

It’s simple, just email me at support@cptcreative.com with what you’d like doing, and I’ll book the work in and let you know when it’s done. Or simply fill out my dedicated online client support form here.

Does the monthly support time roll over?

No. The support time in your Care Plan is set aside each month and is not rolled over. This is so that I can dedicate myself to each client at their allotted time.

What if I need more time each month?

That’s fine, just email me at support@cptcreative.com and ask how many hours you would like. I will invoice you separately for each hour worked, priced at £60 an hour.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan ?

Yes, no problem. If you find that the Care Plan you are on is not suitable for your business, simply contact me at support@cptcreative.com and I will adjust your plan and relevant invoices at the end of that calendar month.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc?

In the very unlikely event your website goes down and it’s hosted with me, I will implement the Emergency Backup Restoration feature and get your site up and running again in no time. 

If your website is not hosted with me, this falls outside of the Care Plan and I would need to liaise with your hosting company in order to help resolve the issue. This will be charged at £60 per hour. I do advise you to make sure that you have the proper security in place through your hosting company.

My website was not build by cpt creative, can I still be on a Care Plan?

You sure can! Although my plans are for sites I build or re-design, I very much welcome clients who are looking for a long term relationship with a dedicated webmaster.

First I would like to do an audit of your WordPress website to see if you would be suitable for one of my Care Plans. This WordPress website audit service would be charged at £150. Once the audit is complete I will suggest which Care Plan best suits you and your business and how you can proceed. Email me at support@cptcreative.com to tell me more about your situation.

What is Pre-live Staging?

Pre-live staging comes with both Advance and Thrive Care Plans. It is a feature that duplicates your site and allows me to make any changes or test any software updates to make sure everything works, before making them live on your website. 

Do I have to host with you?

Not at all. If you are happy with your hosting company, I can still take care of your website, as long as it is a WordPress website. Although some features of the Care Plans are only available for clients that are hosted with me. These features are: Pre-live Staging & Emergency Backup Restoration.

What do you need in order to set up support on my site?

First of all your site needs to be a WordPress site and I would need access to your website’s admin section so that I can conduct the WordPress website audit.  Once the audit is complete we’ll discuss which Care Plan is best suited for your business. 

What kind of things will you do?

I will make regular software and plugin updates, to keep your website secure, as well as make small content and/or design changes that you have specifically asked for. I will also install and setup any new plugins you wish to have installed.

What things won't you do?

Major design changes or large web feature changes are not covered under the Care Plans. If you want large scale changes to your site, please contact me at support@cptcreative.com and we can discuss your requirements.

Website Hosting

Why should I use you to host my website?

There are several reasons why I suggest you use me to host your website:

  1. Everything is taken care of.  That's time you could be spending on your business.
  2. Speed. The WordPress hosting solution I use (Flywheel) is REALLY fast. It does all the caching on the server, so no caching plugins are required.
  3. Top-notch security. Your site will be equipped with the latest security software and will proactively block any potential threat.
  4. I've got your back. If you need help, I'll always will be available via email.

Do you have to design my website in order to look after it?

No. If you already have a WordPress site, I can migrate it over to my hosting solution and start hosting it for you.

Where does my website get backed up?

All website back-ups are stored offsite with Amazon S3 cloud for maximum security and reliability. This way they’re physically separate from your site.

Where will my website be hosted?

All sites are hosted with Flywheel and will be hosted in the UK for maximum speed and efficiency.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, you can register a new domain yourself and help will be available to point your new domain at your website. Or, I can take care of this for you.
You are also very welcome to use your existing domain name and I will help you point it at your new website when it is ready.

How does hosting with you work?

That's easy. If you have a WordPress website, simply purchase your hosting here. I will then be in contact so that we can transfer your website over to your new, secure, super fast hosting service.

Can I buy a domain name from you?

My package comes with a FREE (for 12 months) domain name purchased on your behalf. If you require any additional domains, I recommend you purchase them yourself.

Do you offer email accounts?

Yes. My package includes a FREE (for 12 months) professional 10GB email account linked to your domain name. Extra email accounts for your domain can be purchased for £3 per month per email account. 

Do my email accounts have to be with you?

No, not at all. If you already have an existing email account with your domain name, and this is separate from your website hosting company, you can keep it where it is.
Alternatively, if you are wanting a new domain name, I recommend taking advantage of my free email account offer.

Does your hosting package include an SSL certificate?

Yes. My hosting package includes a free SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt TM.
